GAMSAT–Important Dates and Facts
GAMSAT 2011, Australia, will be held on Saturday 26 March 2011.

Registration is now open and will close at 5.00pm AEDT Wednesday 2 February 2011.
Late Registration will be accepted till 5.00pm AEDT Friday 11 February 2011, on the payment of $100 in addition to the registration fee in the form of late fee.

The results for GAMSAT UK held on Friday 17 September 2010 will be e-mailed 7 weeks after the test date.
The next GAMSAT UK will be held in mid September 2011.

Interesting Facts

1. Did you know that only 10 out of 50 aspirants are admitted in universities?

2. If English is NOT your first language, you CAN take in a bilingual dictionary in the test taker.

3. If you are an International student(Non Aus/NZ), then you do NOT need to calculate GPAs.

4. Did you know that you are permitted to use a non-programmable calculator for Section III only?

5.You can use valid GAMSAT Australia Results for admission to universities under GAMSAT U.K and GAMSAT Ireland.

6. Did you know that the University of Queensland is no longer in the process of interviewing applicants for the GAMSAT graduate program. Also Dentistry at the University of Melbourne does not require an interview.

7. Are you aware you are required to show your valid passport or a current photo bearing driver’s license on the day of sitting for GAMSAT.

8. Did you know that the GAMSAT score is valid for 2 years?

9. Email is the primary means of communication concerning GAMSAT registration, Admission Tickets and results. Candidates must provide a current valid email address which will be maintained during the registration, test and reporting cycle.

10. Applicants who completed their Bachelor degrees more than 10 years previously and who do not have any evidence of formal academic qualifications are advised to check their eligibility before registering for GAMSAT.

11. There is a testing centre for GAMSAT in every Australian capital city. There is one in Townsville too.

12. If you are staying overseas, you can still give your GAMSAT from one of the overseas testing centres located in London, Singapore or Washington D.C. by paying an overseas testing levy of $185 in addition to the registration fee.
