How do I answer?

All three sections of the UMAT test consist of MCQs. The right option has to marked in an O.M.R. sheet using a pencil.

What is the UMAT paper like?

Section I: The MCQs are based on short passages. The passages may be anything from a newspaper report to a mother-daughter dialogue. Sometimes the data may be graphically represented (graphs, tables, pie-charts). Each passage is followed by an MCQ with 4 or 5 options including the right one.

Section II: This section of the UMAT test is to assess your interpersonal skills. Here, MCQs are based on short pieces of conversation or narratives. In Section II, each passage is usually followed by a series of MCQs on it.

Section III: Section III questions are based on non-verbal reasoning… what does it mean? Let us see an example:

You need to use logic to answer the questions correctly in all three sections of the UMAT test.

UMAT Test Timings:

UMAT is a 2 hours and 45 minutes long test. You will be given a test booklet with all the three sections in it and an O.M.R. sheet to mark out the right choices. There will be no break in between the test.
